India Dymond in Order of Nine
India Dymond was first brought to life in a Decker & Callie Adventure book, Bermuda Conspiracy. She had an edge of excitement I thought would be fun to explore. If you enjoy reading or watching Lara Croft movies, I think you will enjoy this high-adrenalin book, too. India is an independent, headstrong, treasure hunter who does not let danger prevent her from jumping feet first into perilous situations. She knows what she wants and how to get it. Trained in martial arts, India puts those talents to use when faced with those who have in mind to harm her.
The setting in the book begins with Egypt, where India returns to hear the reading of her uncle's will. Given a letter from her uncle, India learns about a cipher that holds a secret. A secret that could change the world as she knew it. And that was not the only secret she stumbles onto. Was her uncle's death no accident, after all? And who was he really?
Her questions take her to India, where she learns about a sect called the Order of Nine, said to have supernatural powers that could alter the course of the world. But India is not the only one who goes in search of this order, and their intentions are far from honorable. Can she stop these power-seeking individuals from getting their hands on this power and using it for their evil intentions?
